What skills, techniques or effects would you like to learn from a Photshop/In Design/Illustrator tutorial?

I'm putting together a Photoshop/In Design/Illustrator tutorial, and I'd like to know what skills, techniques or effects people would like to learn the most so I can build my lessons from there.





So, if you were new to these graphic design softwares, what would you be most interested to learn about? :DWhat skills, techniques or effects would you like to learn from a Photshop/In Design/Illustrator tutorial?
While the gradient and mask tools are always nice, the pen tutorials seem to be few and further between. It would be nice to see some tutorials on things other than changing the colors of cars, hair and removing blemishes.





Also, whatever tutorials you do, I'd say if you could make them version independent that would be great. Not everybody can run out and get the latest PS when it comes out.What skills, techniques or effects would you like to learn from a Photshop/In Design/Illustrator tutorial?
